A few friends of mine put on a huge feast earlier in the week. In the heart of Dalston in an abandoned restaurant we sat on a long massive table covered with tasty home made food in an entertaining ambiance with positive vibes and great music in the background. It felt just like a fun family feast but with loads of people we have never met but would eventually become good friends with! Katia and Josephine are part of an art collective called 'Cosmic Mega Brain'. They like to experiment with strange and wonderful projects that bring people together.
The meal was inspired by warm traditional flavors they concocted a menu that celebrates late siesta dinners with people you adore. All the natural ingredients and cooking everything from scratch! The Menu was a fusion of African, Latin and Caribbean influences.
