Dungeness, Kent

Recently, I took a road trip with some friends to visit the late film director, stage designer, artist, and writer, Derek Jarman's house in Dungeness, Kent.  It truly is one of the most beautiful and yet at the same time spooky places I have ever visited.  So much that none of us spoke a word to each other the whole trip as we were all lost in our own thoughts and this crazy dreamscape.

Reality or not?  You should decide...GO!

Dungeness is officially a desert and the only one in the UK. Although on the coast and surrounded by large man-made lakes the climate is very dry and water scarce.  There are so many oddities that its difficult to describe.  For example...in the middle of this desert you can find a random shack with a fortune teller ready to read your destiny and sell you curious mystical nic-knacks and absolutely nothing can be seen in miles!
